Partly to mostly cloudy skies dominated the Sunflower State during 
the night, with increasing chances of showers and storms for central 
and eastern Kansas. Overnight lows ranged from the upper 40s to the 
lower 50s across Kansas. Winds were out of the south at 5 to 10 mph.

Today looks to be fairly active across the Central Plains, with 
chances of showers and storms. Some of the storms may be strong to 
severe, especially from Oklahoma to southern Kansas. Afternoon high 
temperatures are forecast to reach the middle 70s to the lower 80s. 
Winds will be out of the south at 5 to 15 mph with gusts 20 to 25 
mph.

Tonight showers and storms will continue to affect areas from 
western Nebraska down through eastern Oklahoma. Overnight low 
temperatures are forecast to drop down to the upper 40s across 
western Nebraska to the lower 60s across eastern Oklahoma. Winds 
will generally be out of the south to southeast at 5 to 15 mph.
